For Read Across America Week, we are installing a StoryWalk for all classes and the community to enjoy! What is a StoryWalk? StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to wooden stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story. We have chosen Sarah Stewart’s The Gardener and will have it up Monday morning. Feel free to take your class outside to enjoy the story, activities, and discussion ideas. You can also share with your parents and community!
